- Bid for Life—business sponsors as well as donations of
services from businesses; artwork is needed (framed photos & paintings,
pottery, sculpture, jewelry and original prints).
- Food Pantry—serves clients once a month. A donation of Sam's Club
or WalMart Gift Cards to purchase food items is greatly needed.
- ASAP NEED—postage stamps.
- www.smatf.com—monetary donations for client assistance are needed.
PayPal is used for secure online donations. All donations are tax deductible.
SMATF is a 22 year old 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency serving over 400
clients in the counties of: Harrison, Hancock, Stone, Jackson, George
and Pearl River.
- New Computers—SMATF Client Library has 7 computers and SMATF has
4 computers. All are vintage 2003 as well as the software installed
on them. The Client Library computers do not work at all. Staff cannot
open many documents due to the age of the software and lack of memory
on the computers.
